The studio · Henry Gosper and Cam Trafford

We go looking for the remarkable in the unexpected and the overlooked.

Good Grief is a director-led studio in Naarm, Melbourne. Two directors, ten years, one habit: pointing the camera at the thing everyone else walks past.

Our first feature, Water for Birds, followed a marginalised community in India and took Best Melbourne Documentary in 2023. The same patience shows up when the client is Nike or Aesop.

We shoot two ways. Grief is the quiet work, the documentary, the long look. Good is the loud work, the commercial, the gloss. Same eye, two registers.
